Lydia Forson Biography

Lydia Forson is one of the popular actresses in west Africa, she is a Ghanaian actress, writer and producer, born in the year 1984 in Mankessim, Ghana. Concerning her education, she attended Wilmore Elementary school in Kentucky, US when her family moved there but they later relocated back to Ghana and Lydia had to continue her high school there.

She attended Akosombo International School and St. Louis Secondary School, Kumasi in which she completed her senior secondary school education.

The beautiful actress had to complete her education at University of Ghana with a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Information Studies. Lydia started her acting career around 2005 and has featured in the following movies: Hotel St. James, Run Baby Run, Different Shades of Blue, Masquerades, Scorned and many others

African Movie Academy Award Best Actress in a lead role in 2010
Ghana Movie Awards Best Screenplay ‘In The Cupboard’ in 2010.
