Iyanya Mbuk studied Business Management at University of Calabar. he came to limelight when he won MTN Project Fame West Africa in the year 2008 and his hit single “Kukere” boosted his music carrier. He went on to receive the Artist of the Year honor at the 2013 Hip Hop World Awards and The Headies 2013.
He dropped his debut album on 2011 which he title “My story” and album has lots of hit songs that gained lots of airplay.
Iyanya started as rapper with the stage name “Lofty” and his style of music was greatly influenced by the likes of R kelly and Craig David.
He is one of the CEO of Made men music group which house other top and influential artistes such as Emma Nyra, Tekno, Selebobo and Baci.
Reports according to 360nubs and daily independent has it that Iyanya was endosed by Solo Phones Nigeria, a mobile phone company situated at Computer Village, Ikeja. The one-year deal is allegedly worth $220,000 (35 million niara). In addition, Iyanya got a 2014 Toyota Prado from the deal and a one-year deal with Zinox Computers (Nigeria’s first certified
branded computers) worth $300,000. The deal will feature Iyanya on Zinox
billboards and in TV commcercials.
