Kelele Takatifu is a gospel group which consists of two young God loving
and God fearing men namely; Silvanus Otieno a.k.a Didi and James Muhia
a.k.a Moji Shortbabaa.The two were brought together by God back in 2007
while in high school.
They actually started out as friends before
discovering they both had a passion for music as an art.They moved on
to record their first single
‘wasee kwa mtaa'{which was not up to standard} they went on to
record their second single later in 2007{Nisake} but yet again it was
not up to standard.

Kelele Takatifu took a break on recording but still went on with
their shows in Nairobi over their school holidays.After clearing high
school back in 2009,they fully embarked on making quality,uplifting and
most importantly Christ-centered music.

Now with greater knowledge of God
and music they worked with their producer Mgangez and othole{NYNP} with
much support from the madlove lounge family.Kelele takatifu loves
fusing African themes to their style of music not forgeting their
comical aspect in it.
The duo which comprises of
Didi and Moji Short Baba who have been called The Holy Nosiemakers.
Their song Itakuwa Ngori became a club banger as soon as it hit
the waves. Talk about reaching out to the sinners. They want to reach
out to the fellow young people through their music and make Christianity
cool. Their latest single Bamba Mbaya is also doing well.
These guys are so much fun to watch because they are good performers
and they are do not care much for optics and that allows them to be
themselves.
They aspire to push the Gospel of Jesus Christ
through their music by the power of the Holy Spirit.
