Salamina Mosese (maiden name: Mphelo) is an actress, model and television presenter from South Africa born on June 19, 1983 in Zebediela, a small village in Limpopo. The graduate of Corporate Communications from the University of Johannesburg (RAU) was a presenter for’s kids’ programming block CRAZe for five years, and also acted on the SABC1 youth drama series Soul Buddyz, from 1999-2002.

Salamina with Ayanda Thabethe
Salamina is famous for her role as the drama lecturer Keketso Chaka which she took from Katlego Danke on the soapie Backstage, from April 2006 to June 2007. She got married to former Generations and Backstage actor Tshepo “Howza” Mosese in 2008. 
Salamina has appeared in advertising campaigns for Lotto, Comporal and McDonalds and also was the face of Sadie – a roll-on brand that was purchased by L’Oreal in 2007.
