Born Sello Maake on 12 March, 1960 in Orlando, Soweto, South Africa, is a South African trending actor and Voice maker by new name Maake Ka-Ncube (He changed his name to Maake Ka-Ncube in honor of his stepfather who groomed him up). He have done many entertainment works such as television show and theater works both locally and internationally. Among the cross border countries he has done entertainment are Europe, Canada, Britain, USA and others.
He is best known for his role as Lucas Daniel in the South Africa ETV Soap Opera –“Scandal”. Sometime in 2003. he went into a marriage but it lasted for just less than 8 months due to alleged metal instability.
Maaka have done several work this include; Othello, Djadje, Taxi To Soweto, The Good Fascist, Wheels and Daniel and many others.
Among the awards Ncube has won are; 2002 FNB Vita Nomination for Best Ensemble Performance in Musical Theatre, Best Script of a New South African Play, Best Director and for Best Production, for Komeng just to mention but a few.
