Victor Olaoluwatoyefunmi Olaotan is a veteran actor from Nigeria that was born in 1952. Many know him as a lead actor in the popular Soap opera, Tinsel but let’s get down to the early part of his life. Victor started his acting career when he joined the University of Ibadan theatre group, there he also met Professor Wole Soyinka, Jimi Solanke and many others. To be precise, he started acting at the age of 15 years.

Olaotan traveled to United States in 1978 after he lost his father to the cold hands of death. Making his return back to Nigeria in 2002, he didn’t hesitate to go back to what he love most which is acting. To summarise his education history, Victor attended University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University and Rockets University, United States.
