Goodluck Jonathan Biography – Age

Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan is well known as the former president of Nigeria from 2010 to 2015. He is a politician and prior to being the president, he was the vice president from 2007 to 2010 and also governor of Bayelsa state from 2005 to 2007. Born on 20 November 1957 in Ogbia, Bayelsa, Nigeria, he holds a B.Sc. degree in Zoology, an M.Sc. degree in Hydrobiology and Fisheries biology, and a PhD degree in Zoology from the University of Port Harcourt.

Most of Nigerian citizens sees him as a very peaceful man while some see him as a corrupt politician during his tenure, this controversies contributed to his loss of the presidential race in 2015 to the current president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari. Goodluck wasn’t a politician from onset, he was an education inspector, lecturer, and environmental-protection officer before joining politics in 1998. His wife’s name is Patience Jonathan and they are blessed with two children, Ariwera Jonathan and Aruabi Jonathan.
