Rachel Funmilola Garton popularly called Lola Rae is a British-Nigerian singer, born on January 20, 1991 in Obalende, Lagos. Her mother is a Ghanaian while her father is English, but they both lived and worked in Nigeria were they gave birth to Lola and her sisters.

The Afro-pop singer lived in Nigeria for 15 years and attended St. Saviours School for her primary education and her secondary education at Lekki British International High School, Lagos State. She have released singles such as Watch my Tingo, You know what my name is, Fimile ft Iyanya.
Lola Rae is the first lady of Davido Music Worldwide, she was signed to “Davido Music Worldwide” DMW in 2016, among other label mates like Dammy Krane, Mayorkun & Dremo, a music record label owned by Nigerian super star Davido.
Lola Rae debut single under DMW was titled “Biko” and she collaborated with Davido.
