Exclusive Biography of Rhythm 93.7 FM Dj , Dj Humility

DJ Humility real/ full name is Benedict Afagwu is a reknowed Disc Jockey
in Nigeria and the African continent. He started out in the early
90s as a lover of Hip-Hop music. This interest developed into the craft
of Disc Jockeying. He has featured on sliqwiz song “MUMU BUTTON”
along side Vector

In the past 15 years, he has been in the forefront of developing the
craft and making it a viable form of ART in Nigeria. A resident Dj at
premium Urban Radio station; Rhythm 93.7 FM Lagos and the pioneer of the
released annual Disc Jockeying event; Classic Djs.

In the past six years of its existence,Classic Djs has become a
foremost event with the most gathering of Disc Jockeys in Nigeria and
from across the globe boasting of an average of twenty Djs each year.

The Beach event has grown in leaps and bounds over the years and the
last edition had an overwhelming crowd of over five thousand youths at
the Elegushi Beach Lagos venue.

In recent years, Dj Humility delved into other entertainment ventures
leading to the creation of H-Records; an independent Music label in
2012.He went ahead to sign the Hip-hop duo ‘Sugar Boiz’ and released
their first single ‘Badman’ on the label in the first quarter of 2013.
The single made it to various charts on local Radio stations and got
nominated at the prestigious Nigerian Entertainment Awards 2013 edition
in New York,USA under the ‘Best new act’ category.

In April of 2014,he partnered with a concept development outfit;
SoundMind Production to host an exclusive Boat Party tagged ‘Tropical
Rave with Dj Humility’, the first of its kind in the Nigerian
entertainment sector.

He has performed at notable corporate and private events across the
globe and has won a number of Awards to his credit. This includes; Best
World DJ NEA(2008),FAB Magazine’s DJ of the year (2012),Winner; Benson
and Hedges DJ competition (2000) and many others.
