Adiouza full name is Adji Kane Ouza Diallo , she is a female Senegalese’s who hit the limelight in 2008 with her first album
“Maadou” that had made her the female revelation. In 2010, she received
the great distinction of Best Female Artist at the gala SUNU ,AFRIMMA AWARD 2016 Nominees.

Adji Kane Ouza Diallo, known as Adiouza, was born in Dakar, Sénégal.
Her father Ousmane DiaLLO whose stage name is Ouza, fought
the former political regimes trough his music, and is still striving to
express his political commitment through his art.

A trained secretary, Adji’s mother Coumba, left her job to
support her husband and become her manager, from 1979 to 2004.
Flooded with music since her early childhood, Adji took her
first steps on stage at her brother, Cheikh Lô Ouza Diallo’s side. A
pianist, a backing singer and a vocalist, Cheikh has been a mentor to
Adji.
Her brother made her discover Jazz, and accompanied her in Clubs like
“The Meridian”, “Novotel”, “Just 4u” and “Marie Lucienne” Inn. Noticed
by Ousmane Diop, the Inn’s owner, this admirer supported her to produce
her first model with a leading song on AIDS.

During
3 years of hard work, she consolidates the hopes placed in her. She
goes out of its original borders Senegal to go carry his music, take
traditional African influences and western sounds.
Trips
that will lead to frequent, marquee festivals and sharing the stage
with big names in music such as Georges Moustaki, Cheikh Tidiane Seck,
Laobe Samba Fall. His singles and featuring with other artists were a
high with the purists.

his “stay” in the cabaret “the three mailletzs” of 2005-2007 and also
his academic training in Ethnomusicology at the University of Paris 8.
Music theory, piano, drums and guitar have no secrets for her.

factual argument is that she is the daughter of OUZA, Honored Artist
and national heritage of Senegal. We would even try to say they are the
same.

its roots in African values and opening as much as possible to other
cultures, she apprehended this second album, and flesh out the
senegalese sounds, influences drawn from Brazil, France, hacked by a
music, both modern and traditional, committed and festive. The second
album was conceived and recorded between Dakar, Bahia and Paris.
