Danagog Biography

Danagog AKA Danbaba real/full name is Agunbiade Daniel Damilola was born in the late 80s in Ile-Ife is a Nigerian rapper-songwriter signed to HKN GANG alongside B-Red and Sina Rambo headed by Davido.

He calls is style “Spicy” because is a Rappatainer (rapper that entertains).

 Early life and background

Danbaba Was born to Pastor Samuel Agunbiade and the first female deputy speaker in Nigeria, Hon Olanike Omowarare. He spent most of his early life in U.K but obtained his first degree in Nigeria.

Danagog was always expected to be a public figure of his strong personality and sense of humor.

Musical career

Danagog started out drumming in his school band and launched his career professionally in 2007
His style of music is greatly influenced by the acts like King Sunny Ade(KSA), Run DMC, Abba, Bobby Brown, Mc
hammer and P.diddy. He never told his parents about his music but they
kept on hearing from people that really loved his music.

His songs are based on his life, often hilarious but with a deeper meaning which documents the struggle of a young African trying to achieve his dreams. He performs in Yoruba, English and Pidgin English.

All his albums are solely produced by Half-lyf (Osuwah Ikechuckwu) with some exceptions of
collabs2007 – 1st single was released titled “who’s dat guy” (both Video and Audio )2008 which was produced by waz beat – Self Sponsored promotional tour around universities in Nigeria (Bowen University, O.A.U, U.i and all polytechnics in Osun STate) 2009 – Signed with SMACK Ent, launched new “promo cd” and Released two new singles titles “lobe”n”follow u”IN GENERALHe is best known for his live performances and his ability to move any size of crowd.

In 2013 Danagog Joined Davido’s HKN Gang.
