Lola Savage

Early life

Her life story as an artist/performer
begun at the age of 4, Lola grew up singing in her church’s choir where
she strengthened her vocal ability with her sisters learning music’s
“Tonic sol-fa” in depth, and at the age of 18, was doing talent shows,
singing and dancing in high school. In 2002 at the age of 19, Lola
Savage then auditioned and was picked to join a well known local r&b
group in Chicago along side 3 other singers including her elder sister
and actress Sheri Savage Osidipe. They fought their way through the
musical storm and grew chances to perform for major record labels in the
likes of Virgin, Columbia, Jive and Epic records at some of the “SIR
studio” locations in New York. Missing out on a welcoming deal with Epic
records due to personal issues within the entertainment company signed
to at the time, Lola put her first love aside and focused on another
venture. She then pursued modeling with the well known “Elite Models
Agency” in Chicago, to engage in strengthening her other hobbies.

Family, friends and fans did not want Lola Savage to give up. Though
Lola was usually the life of the spiritual choruses at her church,
everyone believed her harmonious voice would bring her success in music.
Lola tried climbing up that musical ladder by working on a hopeful
feature with well known artist/producer “eLDee”, a released feature with
r&b singer “Ajasa”, and a released feature with Chicago’s own hip
hop/soul sensation “H2O Soul” to spread her interest regained in working
on her first love. Through a well-formed sing-a-long melody, written by
one of the most creative singer/song-writers based in the United States
named Keno Kennet, Lola records “Becha.” A song that exudes emotion. A
song that many can relate to.

After putting music in the back
burner again, Lola now comes back to us fresh and with more dedication.
With her drive and ambition that had never left, she is currently
working on the release of her Ep, and released a single called “Iwo Ni
Mofe” in 2013 which can be listened to and downloaded on Nigerian Music
Blog sites such as Gidilounge, Notjustok,
and many others. Lola has also released hit songs called “Dem Say”,
“TKO” and recently December of 2015, “Fele” which is still topping the
Nigerian music trend charts as #FeleByLolaSavage.

As Lola
continues to embark on her journey in the industry, never giving up, she
was also introduced into the Nollywood scene and auditioned for her
first major debut in a Nigerian soap opera Television series called
“Casino” and plays a lead role known as Monisola Akin-Benson. Alongside
being an artist, Lola has proven to her fans that she’s able to take on
anything thrown at her in the Entertainment industry and now acting has
become a major interest for her. Stay tuned for more from Lola Savage. A
