Her husband, Shona Ferguson (born Aaron Arthur Ferguson; 30 April 1974), was a Motswana–South African actor, director, producer, and businessman, best known as the loving husband and creative partner of Connie Ferguson. He began his career in 1992 as a nightclub DJ in Lesotho, then transitioned into sales and IT back home, earning Top Sales Manager awards in 1998–1999. He was hospitalized in late June 2021 due to COVID-19 complications and passed away at Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg on 30 July 2021 at age 47.
Her first daughter, Lesedi Matsunyane‑Ferguson, was born in December 1992. Her second daughter’s name is Alicia Angel Ferguson. Born on June 7, 2002, at Parklane Clinic in Johannesburg, she is the youngest child of Connie Ferguson and the late Shona Ferguson.
