Kantu AKA Kan2 Real/full Name is Kantu Siachingili, She was born on April 5th 1990. Kantu is a Zambian female Artiste In February 2014, Kantu came to lime light with the release of her hit single Mungeli
which attracted so many people’s attention. Since then, the beautiful
and talented Zambian Artist Has Grown Into a Celebrated Artist In and
Outside Zambia With Hits Like Lonely, Koneki, Million, Remeber,
Namasandu etc topping charts.
Early life history
Kantu full/real names are Kantu Siachingili. She was born on the 5th of April,1990. she is the 5th born in a family of 6,- 2 males and 4 females. ken2 was raised by both parents,She obtained her primary Education at Adastra Primary school in Choma and secondary school at Hillcrest National Technical High school in livingstone.Ken2 acquired her bachelors degree in art,with education, Geography major and History minor at the university of Zambia in 2009 and graduated 2013, masters of science in environmental and natural resource management.
Music Career
Kantu started her career as musician in
musuka during he first degree, she won inda hood competitions in 2010,
talent yapa zed competition and made it to the top 10.
In 2013, Kantu worked in a project for
Zambian National Art Council called ” Past to Present” with her friend
Tasila Mwale. The album went on to win Zambian best traditional album in
2015.

Kan2 started her
music career professionally In December 2014 when she signed to XYZ music label, She released her debut single under the label titled “Mungeli”,
in same year she released her Hit singles “Alangizi”, Koneko and
undecided .
She was nominated in Zambian music award for two categories , best collaboration and Best upcoming artist.
she went ahead to release another hit single featuring T-sean and lonely produced by KB
She has done lost of back up singer for Slapdee including his hit single remember and kalibu.
she
has worked with most the Zambian best Artist which include :
Slapdee,bobby east, T sean, YellowMan, kobi, bmak, stevo, brisky etc.
Kantu was inspired by her family members,and her style of music was greatly influenced by American singer Brandy.
Kantu is a versatile artist who has won a
number of awards in the past. On 28th April, this beautiful sexy diva
won the Award for BEST FEMALE ARTIST in the Annual Zambian Music Awards.
