Radio & Weasel – Uganda
Radio and Weasle hail from Ugandan scene. Radio
original names Moses Sekibogo was born in Busoga and raised there. He
later joined Butiki secondary and finally Makerere University where
Radio graduated with a bachelor�s degree. On the other hand, Weasle
original names Douglas Mayanja was born in Kawempe a suburb of
kampala.He is Chameleone�s young brother. He had his education at Kako
S.S.S Masaka.

Musically, these two guys started there career at the
Leone island�s crew led by Jose Chameleone in the early 21st century.
They used to work as back up artists for the heavyweight champion.
During their stay at Leone Island, they recorded songs such as Jennifer
and Bomboclat which did so well publically. In 2008, they walked out of
the Leone Island�s crew and formed their own squad called Goodlife.
Their derby songs included Ngamba, Nakudata, Lwaki onumya and
Zeuna.These tracks built a very strong foundation for the boys. Hits
like Zuena made Radio and Weasle so popular as they attacked fellow
artists. Since that time, the duo has achieved mega success. Among their
top hits include Nakudata,Zuena,Nyambura,Nakutamani,Single and
Searching,Satani,Ability,Potential ,Nyumbani unfortunately this list is
endless. For the first two years since their independence, they have
won more than four accolades, had more than ten international tours plus
being nominated in the MTV awards. Their Goodlife crew is also doing so
well as it�s trying its best to nurture and develop new talent. Other
members of the Goodlife crew include Daphine (1st lady), Allan, Gift of
Kaddo and Diamond Oscar.They live in Nyanama 13 on Entebbe road.
According to respectable sources, Radio and Weasle who are both in their
later 20s are single and searching.
After massive success in the
music industry, the Goodlife crew of RADIO and WEASLE is to construct a
beach to attract more profits. According to one of the top friends of
the crew, Moze and Weasle have already acquired the land on which the
beach will be constructed. The construction of the beach is set to begin
late this year and come next year the boys will be Mazzi Mawanvu (deep
waters).However this beach business is not new among musicians because
Ragga Dee and H.E Bobi wine already own beaches. Goodlife crew, we wish
you the best and I personally think that if musicians turn to profitable
business like the above rather than beefing then Ugandan music will
move a step high.
