Winnie Ntshaba with real name Bawinile Ntshaba was born on September 1, 1975. She is a South African actress. She graduated from University of Natal (Durban) with a BA Drama Honours degree in 1997. Winnie moved to Johannesburg in 2000 and participated in educational and industrial theatre shows for AREPP Shoestring Productions. In 2004 she was featured in the local television drama Jozi Streets.

Winnie Ntshaba launched a soapie award ceremony in 2013 called the Royalty Soapie Awards. The first ceremony took place at the Durban International Convention Centre on 2 November 2013. She divorced her ex husband Thabo Modise.
