Thembeka Zondo Biography – Age

Thembeka Zondo is a South African presenter that works with Ukhozi FM; SA’s biggest radio station. She also works as a professional MC for corporate events and a speaker in platforms targeting young women. Born on April 22, 1987, Thembeka attended Ferndale Combined School where she took full advantage of a variety of interests that tested and showcased her abilities. She participated in debating, drama, arts and athletics. A highlight of Thembeka’s very industrious time in school was her selection as a leader of all the KZN school teams that participated in a British government-sponsored campaign called “The Dreams & Teams” in 2003. Growing up in the modest surroundings of KwaMashu in the 1980’s, Thembeka, faced “a life with limitations” which made her to strive for a better life.

She completed a diploma at Aptech College in 2008 where she became a facilitator for International Computer Driver’s Licence (ICDL) . Thembeka explored her passion for media and ventured into community radio in 2009. She joined Vibe FM, a community station in KwaMashu, as a volunteer presenter.
