Born Robert Ndip Tambe started his football career professionally on 1st January 2016, He signed a two-year contract with the Slovak side Spartak Trnava and the contract is expected to keep him in the club to 31 December 2017. He made his professional debut for Trnava against Michalovce on 27 February 2016.
Tambe made his senior debut for the Cameroon national football team in a 2-0 win over The Gambia for 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualification.
