Femi Otedola was born on November 4, 1962 in Ibadan, Oyo State to late Sir Michael Otedola, Governor of Lagos State from 1992 to 1993. He hails from Nigeria and is a businessman, entrepreneur philanthropist, and chairman of Forte Oil Plc. His net worth is US$1.85 billion as of 2016 and he is also the founder of Zenon Petroleum and Gas Ltd.

He is married to Nana Otedola and they have four children (3 girls and a boy) among whom includes; Florence Otedola, aka DJ Cuppy and her younger sister, Temi, a style blogger and aspiring designer.
