Johnny Drille real/full name is John Ighodaro, He was born in Edo State, Nigeria on July 5th 1990.He is a Nigerian Song writer, singer, producer, and MTN Project Fame Ex-student currently signed to Mavin Records.

Johnny is a Native of Edo State, Nigeria and was born and raised in his home state. He was born into a family of seven which included his clergy father and mother. He Obtained a Bsc In English and Literature from the University of Benin in 2012.
Drille began his music career in a tender age from his father’s Church, Before he upgraded to music production in 2006 when he first started with the use of cassette recorders.
Project Fame
Ighodaro participated on the 6th Edition of the prestigious MTN Project Fame Academy in 2013 where he was evicted at tenth position.
Musical Career
Opting out of the project firm did not kill his musical career, Johnny had went on to put out his works but they got little or unnoticed until January 2015 when he decided to do a cover for Di’ja’s ‘Awww’. Which got him attentions and gained him a fan base.
He followed it up with a personal composition, a country/folksy song ‘Love Don’t Lie’ in June of the same year. August 12th 2015 saw the release of the widely accepted ‘Wait For Me’ and is still spreading fast.
Some of Johnny Drille’s latest music include a folksy love song titled ‘My Beautiful Love’ which is in celebration of true love and a collaborate with Nigerian Afro-house powerhouse, Niniola titled ‘Start All Over’. Both of them where house mate at the same season of Project Fame in 2013.

On 28 February 2017, Mavin Rcord announced that Johnny Drille has been officially signed to the family.
‘Once upon a time, Johnny Drille was a contestant in the Project Fame Academy (Season 6), three years later; he came back to the very place he began his journey to stardom to share the experiences he has garnered over the years.
Johnny Drille who has now carved a niche for himself in folk music encouraged the contestants to make the best use of the opportunities that come with being on the Project Fame platform.
He did not fail to mention how competitive the music industry is, but he also stressed the importance of being original without giving in to the competitive pressure. By popular demand from the contestants, Johnny Drille performed his song titled ‘My beautiful love’. Godwyn Guitar, who came with him was on standby to make the song more pleasurable to the ears as he strummed along.’
