Robert Gabriel Mugabe is popular as the president of republic of Zimbabwe since 22 December 1987 under the political party Union-Patriotic Front and oldest president in Africa. Born on February 21, 1924 to Gabriel a carpenter and Bona, they have six children altogether which includes; Miteri (Michael), Raphael, Robert, Dhonandhe (Donald), Sabina, and Bridgette. Before he became the president, he has served as its Prime Minister from 1980 to 1987.

Robert has many qualifications such as;
Teacher training course at Kutama College (1941)
University of Fort Hare – Bachelor of Arts degree in history and English literature (1948-1952)
University of South Africa – Bachelor of Education degree by correspondence
Bachelor of Administration from London University ( 1955 – 1958)
Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute in Winneba (1958 – 1960)
He got married in 1961 to a Ghanaian woman Sally Hayfron but unfortunately she died in 1992. Then in 1996 Robert got married to Grace Marufu.
