Lady Jaydee’s real name is Judith Wambura Mbibo was born on June 15, 1979. She is  a Tanzanian singer who specializes in the R&B/Zouk/Afro Pop genres. She was voted Best Tanzanian Female R&B Artist in 2002 and in July 2005, she won an award for “best female video for South Africa”. Some of Jayde’s albums are; Machozi (2000), Binti (2003), Moto (2005), Shukrani (2007) and
Ya 5. The Best of Lady Jaydee (2012).

Awards
In 2003 she won the Best African East and in 2005 she was awarded the Best Video East Africa and Best Collaboration Video. Also in 2014 she won the title of the Best Female Artiste East Africa etc.

Lady has worked in collaboration with some companies as follows:

  1. In 2009 she signed up with Zain Tanzania (now known as Airtel Tanzania) to be their ambassador
  2. In 2010 she was appointed by Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation In Tanzania (CCBRT HOSPITAL) to be their Ambassador to help women suffering from Fistular disease
  3. In 2012 She was an ambassador of  National Microfinance Bank Tanzania for the project which was known as “PESA FASTA”
  4. In March 2014 she signed up with international cosmetics brand Oriflame Sweden to be one of their brand ambassadors.
