Jodi Balfour is a South African film and television actress who is best known for her role as Gladys Witham in the Canadian television drama series Bomb Girls. She was born on 29th October, 1987 in Cape Town, South Africa.
Jodi is a graduate of University of Cape Town where she studied drama and competed in the Miss South Africa beauty pageant in 2008. Since her graduation in 2009, she has worked as an actress primarily in British and Canadian film and television productions. She is currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia, where in addition to her acting she is co-owner of a coffeehouse in the city’s Gastown neighbourhood

In February 2015, she was cast in the Cinemax series Quarry and has starred in several other films and TV series. In 2011, Jodi starred as Michaela in Vampire, Final Destination 5 (2011), A Ghost Within (2013), The Husband (2013)as Claire, Unearthing, Eadweard and Almost Anything all in 2015. She also featured in TV series; Quarry where she played the main role of Joni Conway, Rellik and The Crown.
Jodi won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Lead Actress in a Television Film at the 3rd Canadian Screen Awards in 2015 for her performance in the series’ follow-up television film Bomb Girls: Facing the Enemy.
