Veteran Nigerian actress, writer, Executive Producer, and business woman, Bukky Wright was born on 31st of March, 1967 to a Christian father and Muslim mother in Abeokuta. She grew up in Lagos and is a graduate of the University of Lagos, earning a bachelors degree in Economics. She is the CEO Wright Media & Associates Multiple Brand ambassador.
Bukky began her acting career in 1996 and has since featured in several Nollywood movies of Yoruba and English languages, including Wale Adenuga’s popular Television series “Super story”, Afefe Alaafia, Iyore, Dugbe Dugbe, Habitat, Red Hot and a host others.

in addition to acting, Bukky runs a Fashion house and Clothing line, B Collections and a beauty spa, B Wright. She has signed endorsement deals with brands like Chivita.
In 2011, she won the Best Nollywood Actress of the Year Award and in the year 2014, She contested for the post of a Honourable in Ogun State House of Assembly under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) led by former Governor Olusegun Osoba.
Bukky’s marital life has been a subject of controversy. She got married to Adewale Onitiri in 2011. She has two sons: Wilson Amu-Wright and Olugbenga Jerry Amu-Wright. She has a grand son.
