Iranian actress and model, Sadaf Taherian who was born July 21, 1988. She had a few appearances in Iranian Movies and TV like Hich Kojā, Hich Kas (Nobody, Nowhere), Pas Kuche-hāye Shemrun (Shemiran’s Back alleys), Asr-e Yakhbandān (Ice Age) and a host others.

She then began posting unveiled images of herself on Facebook and Instagram. This action provoked a furious reaction from Iran’s ministry of culture and Islamic guidance as it is against Iran’s law for a woman not to wear hijab. They in turn denounced her ‘immoral’, banned her from acting, and photoshopped the traditional head scarf back into the shots.
