Young Dee real/full names David Mwelwa was born on 20th October 1990 in Chingola. Young Dee attended Chingola Secondary and currently he’s also a Sound Engineer. Young Dee who atimes refers to himself as Mr 2 in 1 started as a dancer, imitating the likes of the late Michael Jackson. After many years of curtain rising for others as a dancer, Young Dee discovered that he had love for music and the year 2009 saw him start up as a Zambian Hip-Hop musician. Young Dee confirmed to ZambianMusic.Net that while he was still a dancer, he got the chance to meet Macky2 with whom they have come a long way.
Now signed and performing under the Kopala Swag record label, Young Dee has recorded a couple of songs with Alpha Entertainments. Young Dee has recorded hits and shared a stage with almost every big musician in Zambia.
