Aisha Ahmad Biography – Age, Husband, CBN Deputy Governors

Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria nominee Aisha Ahmad Nee Ndanusa was born on October 26, 1976 in Sokoto to the family of Alhaji Umaru Ndanusa, former Chairman Peugeot Nigeria Limited. She is a native of Bida, Niger State.

She attended Federal Government Girls College, Bida, Niger State where she finished in the class of 1992. She then attended University of Abuja where she obtained a degree in accounting and also a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the university of Lagos. She holds an MSc in finance and management from the Cranfield School of Management in the UK.

Until her nomination, Aisha was Head Consumer Banking & Investment with Diamond Bank. She also has membership to the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Associations.

Aisha Ahmad has a sound professional banking experience that moves from the NAL Bank Plc, Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Zenith Bank Plc and Diamond Bnak.

She is the chairperson of the Executive Council of Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WIMBIZ), a Nigerian non-profit organisation, an establishment which she joined in 2001.
Aisha is also a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Associations – globally recognized programmes for investment analysts and portfolio managers.

Aisha is married to a retired general of the Nigerian Army, Abdullahi Ahmed who is also from Bida Niger State and they have two male children, AbdulShakur and Jamal.
