Popularly known for her starring role as Angela-Jane Elison ( AJ) on the SABC3 soap opera High Rollers Sive Mabuya is a South African actress born in Cape Town and grew up in East London.
She had her passion for acting at a very young age by participating in school and church. She later moved to Johannesburg to become a full time actress. She is multilingual, speaking English, Xhosa and Zulu.
Sive made her acting debut in February 2015 when she was one of five winners of the MAQamovie competition for amateur actors, sponsored by a washing powder brand. This gave her the opportunity to feature in the film Skorokoro. She also landed a cameo role in Shona Ferguson’s supernatural drama series Igazi, produced by Ferguson Films. The series aired on Mzansi Magic in mid-2016.

In December 2015 she made her silver screen debut when she starred in the M-Net Original Film The Ring. She also starred in the feature-length film The Lucky Specials.
Sive joined the cast of the SABC3 dark comedy-drama series Sober Companion in July 2016 playing the recurring role of Faith. In 2017, she had a guest starring role on the e.tv soapie Scandal! as Xolile.
