Odenike Odetola-Odeleye popularly known as ‘ODENIKE‘. She is an Actress (Film, Stage and Voice) and a Voice Over Artiste. She hails from Ekiti State, Nigeria. She is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Lagos.
Odetola has always wanted to be an actor ever since her secondary school days but didn’t realise how much training it requires else she would have started taking classes more earlier. After she attended her first audition, she immediately realized this is what she would want to do for the rest of her life and started training herself gradually and with every opportunity she gets; and thereby developed her acting skills.
In 2012 she auditioned for an acting reality show and was part of the top 5 contestants from Nigeria to participate in ‘The Spirited Actor’ The next African Hollywood Star and got groomed in Acting Training in the USA. She also takes part n Ifeoma Fafunwa Productions ‘Acting Training and Coaching’
Odeleye has worked with several artistes such as; Joke Silva, Taiwo Ajai Lycett, Iretiola Doyle, Bimbo Akintola, Dakore, Omonor Somolu, Ufuoma Mcdermott and Rita Edward.
She is outstanding in her delivery, her undeniable talents and acting skills is gradually dragging her out of her calm comfort zone. She has proven to be stronger than she appears, young, vibrant, easy-going, gentle, friendly, fun loving and sees the best in everyone she meets.
She takes her work seriously and puts her best into every opportunity she gets no matter how small. This hardworking, focused and amiable young lady sharpens her craft every now and then with acting classes and would be a good cast any day any time as she will definitely bring any character to life, do not be fooled by her innocent looks.
Odenike also co-ordinates the Greenlight Movies Initiative, a not-for-profit organisation that funds and equips teenagers to make short films. She is currently working on a christian play titled ‘THE AGENCY’ where she would be acting alongside Tope Tedela, Biola Segun Williams, Adesua Etomi and Patrick Diabuah.
