Nomsa Buthelezi was born on April 7, 1982. She is a South African actress who became famous after her role as Awelani in the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango. Others know her for hosting the Mzanzi Magic reality show Our Perfect Wedding and for playing a female Metro police officer in a Vodacom “Summer Loving” commercial.

Nomsa Buthelezi also played the role of Thandi in SABC1 sitcom Abo Mzala back in 2011 and later starred as Dudu in the Mzansi Magic sitcom Samsokolo in 2013. In the same 2013, she was among the stars in Mzansi Magic soapie Isibaya where she played the role of Ma Mnisi. She’s among the actors in SABC1 soapie Generations as Mrekza’s (Kope Makgae) sister Boipelo.
