Career
Before Instagram became a foundation for content creators, there was an American short-form video hosting service where users could share six-second-long looping video clips known as Vine. Though it shut down in early 2017 many content creators made use of it back then. Siyabulela Deli was one of them, he started with this website and soon became a household name. His 60-second skits were made in English, Afrikaans, and Xhosa to accommodate all races. The first Vine video was the inspiration he got from SABC 2 program, Speak Out, which starred a woman who was confronted about not delivering pots that she sells.
His videos are geared towards reacting to different videos on the internet, making fun of how South Africans react to things, and so on. There are many competitors these days unlike when he first started which now makes it a bit difficult for him to shine through unlike before.
