Nigerian journalist and government official Femi Adesina who is currently the special adviser on media and publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari.
Femi is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun state. He also attended Lagos Business School. He bagan his career as a writer in charge of various programmes at Radio Lagos and there he discovered his talent thereby becoming a journalist.
He first worked with Vanguard Newspaper and then National Concord Newspaper as an editor. Femi was also the editor of the Nigerian Tribune and Daily Sun.

In 2007, he was named Editor of the Year by the Nigeria Media Merit Awards. He also served a two-year term as president of the Nigerian Guild of Editors. Although re-elected for a second term as Guild president, Adesina relinquished his position after receiving his government appointment.
On August 31, 2015 he was sworn-in as special adviser on media and publicity to Buhari alongside with Babachi Lawal, the incumbent Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
