Education
Academically, Rebecca is distinguished by dual bachelor’s degrees in Public Health and Spanish from the University of Maryland, graduating magna cum laude, and is a Phi Beta Kappa honor society member
Career
She debuted in gymnastics at age 3, competing for over a decade, and shifted to kettlebell training in 2014, becoming the 16th woman in the world to earn the Iron Maiden title from StrongFirst. In 2018, she transitioned into Olympic-style weightlifting, and by 2025, she became the Texas state weightlifting champion, ranking 3rd nationally in the 64 kg weight class, with a remarkable 206 kg total (92 kg snatch + 114 kg clean & jerk) at the 2024 National Championships.
Standing 5’4″ and weighing 140 lb, she also excels as a strength specialist in the performance-focused Grid League with the Tampa Bay Brigade. Her professional journey includes rising through roles at Equinox, earning the title of Fitness Manager of the Year, before co-founding MCHN Strength, an online training platform, and the Semper Stronger Foundation, a nonprofit supporting veterans and first responders through strength and recovery programs.
As a coach, she brings over a decade of leadership in fitness, backed by certifications such as NSCA Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator, StrongFirst SFG II, USA Weightlifting Level 1, and Precision Nutrition PN1 coach. Her work is deeply personal—shaped by managing ulcerative colitis and caring for her injured U.S. Marine husband, fueling her mission to help others rebuild strength through healing and movement.
