Olaiya Michael Olobatoke was born in Kabba of Kogi State, the middle belt of Nigeria, attended both primary and secondary schools in the same town, Graduated with BSc Sociology from University of Ilorin Kwara State, Nigeria. He has his nickname to be Associate.
Olaiya came to spotlight sequel to Electoral Chairman University of Ilorin Student Union Election 2008. He has his idol to be Nyeso Wike, Governor, Rivers State.
