Maureen solomon is a nollywood actress, she comes from a family of seven that is, including her parents. She’s the second child and second girl. The computer engineering graduate of Enugu State
University of Technology (ESUT) hails from Isochi in Abia State. She was born on December 8, into a family of five. Her father is an Engineer and her mother a retired Banker (Union Bank).
She started acting since 2001 till date. She bumped into an audition. when she went
there to look for her sister who was attending the audition but when she got there, she was asked to be part of the audition and she got the role.

Her journey to Nollywood started
after she completed her secondary school education in 2000. Her first movie was titled “Alternative” which was directed by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen. The movie “Not With My Daughter” directed by Andrew Nwakalo brought her to limelight while her most challenging movie was “Snake
Girl”. Maureen has featured in over 30 movies. Due to child birth, she was out of the industry for a while but is presently back.
She is married to Mr Okeke who is a Banker and they have three children. She and her husband got married on December 6, 2005.
