Chipo Chung Biography – Age

Chipo (meaning: “gift”) Chung is an actress and an activist that hails from Tanzania. Born on August 17, 1977 as a refugee in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and raised in  Zimbabwe, she attended Dominican Convent High School and in 1995 at the age of 18, she moved to the United States where her mother Fay Chung was working for the United Nations. There she studied at Yale University and graduated cum laude (Latin honors) with a double major in Theatre Studies and Fine Art.
