Katlego Abel Mphela is a South African footballer who was born on November 29, 1984, in Brits, Transvaal (now in North West). He used to play for Kaizer Chiefs. His amazing ability in his position as a striker gave him the nick name Killer.

Katlego has played in France for RC Strasbourg and Stade Reims before returning back to his country where he played for Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns where he had an amazing career as the top scorer. This made him to win the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot and was voted PSL Players’ Player of the Season. Katlego has also represented his country South Africa in about 53 matches scoring scoring 23 goals.
