Salma Rachid is a young Moroccan entertainer and vocalist born on 13th June, 1994. She rose to fame in the Arab world at the age of 18 following her participation in the second season of Arab Idol, broadcast on MBC.

Salma was passionate about music, drawing and fashion from a very young age. She graduated from high school in June 2012, getting her baccalauréat after which she enrolled into the university where she pursued her studies in economics.
