Fumani Nkateko Shilubana was born on 22 March, 1980, Tzaneen, South Africa. He has his stage name as Fumani Shilubana. He featured in SABC2 as Detective Nataniel and as Dr. Mokhethi on the SABC1 Soapie Generations.
He joined the South African State Theater’s Development Program (52 Seasons) in 2002, where he met his mentor and friend playwright/director Mpumelelo Paul Grootboom, who taught Fumani all he knows. He did his first professional play in 2003 “Julius Caesar and Maru” as a school set work.
He engaged himself in production of several event like story telling, TV productions, Hamlet, Township Stories, others are “Over My Dead Body”, Foreign Husband”.
His main and major hit movie os “Kalushi”.
