Kandyse McClure was born on March 22, 1980, a South African-born Canadian actress.
She was formally named Candice McClure at birth in Durban, South Africa and is of Cape Coloured descent. In 1998, she graduated from West Vancouver Secondary School.
Kandyse made her first appearance on television in a lead role with Lou Diamond Phillips in the 1999 telefilm “In a Class of His Own”. This was followed by the Fox Family teen drama “Higher Ground”
and the NBC Saturday-morning series “Just Deal”, which were premiered in 2000. In that same year, 2000, she also played a recurring role in the Canadian drama television series Da Vinci’s Inquest

In 2002, Kandyse portrayed the recurring character of Elizabeth Munroe on Showtime’s Jeremiah
McClure then appeared in a 2009 television adaptation of King’s Children of the Corn and the Carl Bessai feature film from the same year.
In 2011 she played the girlfriend of Stuart Davis in the independent short comedy film “Just Be Yourself”and then joined the cast of Netflix original series Hemlock Grove which premiered in January 2013. Kandyse McClure has also appeared in other television programs, such as Whistler, Andromeda, Jake 2.0, Smallville, and Reaper.
As of 2013, McClure continues to work with the non-profit organization CARE Canada to address poverty in the world’s developing regions. As of 2013, McClure resides in Vancouver, British Columbia and is happily married to musician Cylenz.
