Samkon Kaltho Gado was born in Kufai, Gombe State, Nigeria of West Africa. Born on 13 November, 1982. He is a Nigerian-American former American football running back. Samkon played college football at Liberty. Gado moved to Columbia, South Carolina from Nigeria when he was nine years old. He attended Ben Lippen School in Columbia, where he was a four-sport Letter-winner (Football, Track, Soccer, and Basketball).
Gado played college football at Liberty University, an FCS school in Lynchburg, Virginia. He played in 39 games during his college career, amassing a total of 273 carried for 1,631 yards and 16 rushing touchdowns.
