Keri Hilson was born on December 5, 1982 in Decatur, Georgia in a middle class family to a father who is a developer and served in the army and a mother who runs a day care center, she has a brother whose name is Kip and her sisters are Kelsee, Kye and Kaycee. She’s an American singer, songwriter, and actress, prior to her being famous she worked with producer Anthony Dent, as a songwriter and background vocalist for several R&B and hip hop artists.

Right from her teenage years she has always had interest in music, having secured a record deal with the girl group D’Signe when she was 14, who later disbanded. Keri released her debut album In a Perfect World…, which charted at #4 on the Billboard 200. The lady with lots of talent and once dated basketball player Serge Ibaka made her singing debut with the single “The Way I Are” by Timbaland.
