Born on November 29, 1991 in New Rochelle, New York, Taja Riley is a dancer, singer, and DJ. She came to prominence after dancing on tour with stars like Chris Brown and Kanye West. Trained as a dancer at Denise Wall’s Dance Energy, she took the title of NYCDA National Teen Outstanding Dancer at the age of fifteen.
Her elder sister Deja and her other sister Bobbie made up the R&B girl group Riley. Taja on the course of her career has worked on shows like So You Think You Can Dance and The X Factor USA. Another part of her life that helped make her more famous was when her father Teddy Riley sued her for undue credit in the writing of “Teeth” by Lady Gaga.
