He lost his father in January, 2017 leaving with him his siblings who are: Cynthia Akinsanya (A Business Woman), Debby Christoph-Ogbonna(A Biochemist), Patricia Chi Christoph-Ogbonnaya (An Actress, MakeUp Artist, Trained Nurse).
