Ayisha Osori is a Nigerian lawyer, political activist and journalist. She was the CEO of the Nigerian Women’s Trust Fund before Olufunke Baruwa. She is currently on the board of Open Society Initiative for West Africa.
She was born on 3rd August and a degree in Law from Harvard Kennedy School of Government. As a lawyer, she was called to the bar in Nigeria in 1998 and to the bar in New York in 2010.
In 2013, she was an Eisenhower Fellow and as a result was invited to America. She spent seven weeks meeting important organisations and the chair of the Eisenhower Fellowship, Colin Powell.

Ayisha was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party but she decamped to All Progressive Congress in 2014. In 2015 she was chosen to be one of 21 women who met for a conference at Harvard University Kennedy School of Government funded by Hunt Alternatives. The group included Fauzia Nasreen from Pakistan, Judy Thongori from Kenya and Olufunke Baruwa, Esther Ibanga and Hafsat Abiola also from Nigeria.
Her works as a journalist appears in Sahara Reporters and NewsDiaryOnline. Ayisha is the author of the book titled “Love does not win elections”.
