Pope Obumneme Odonwodo popularly known as Junior Pope in his movie carrier was a Nollywood actor from Ukehe, Enugu State located in Southeastern
Nigeria. Junior Pope was born on May 7th in Bamenda, Cameroon to Mr and Mrs Luke Odonwodo. He grew up there where he did his primary education
and later his family returned to Nigeria in the 90’s, his tertiary
education was in University of Nigeria where he got a degree in
Accounting. Pope made his debut in the movie industry in 2007 in a movie
titled secret adventure directed by Tchidi Chikere.

Other movies he featured on include: Bitter Generation, Mad
Sex, Vengeance of bullet, queen of the jungle and many others. He has
also won awards as most promising Nollywood actor of the year by
Entertainment Factory in 2010. Junior Pope went into family life when he got married to Jennifer Awele Okpuno on 26th July 2014.

On April 10th 2024, he lost his life while going to a movie location on a boat. The boat was involved in an accident, Him and some other movie crew members lost their lives.
