Clarion Chukwura Biography – Profile, Marriage

Clarion Chukwura is a Nollywood/Nigerian Actress who was born on July 24th 1964. She is from Anambra state, but was born in Lagos state where did her Nursery/Primary education and later came back to her state and attended Queen of our Rosary College in Onitsha. Clarion later traveled to south west Nigeria for her tetiary education where she studied acting and speech at the Department of Dramatic Arts, University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Her career began in 1980 but became more more popular around 1984 when she featured in Television Soap Opera titled “Mirror in the sun”. She holds the record of being the first Nigerian to win the Best Actress category at the 1982 FESPACO film festival in Burkina-Faso.

Clarion Chukwura have featured in many movies which includes: Remarkable Night, Igbotic Love, Apaye, Forbidden Choice, Hustlers, Caught in the Act and many others. She’s also the mother of music video director Clarence Peters whose father is a popular musician Sir Shina Peters. Clarion was married to Tunde Abiola but they have divorced now, she’s currently a single parent.
