Bukola Awoyemi is an actress, singer and a producer who hails from Eruku, Kwara state, Southwest Nigeria. Born in the year 1988, she studied Performing Arts at university of Ilorin and did her National Youth Service (NYSC) at Lagos state. During her University days she engaged in stage dramas which gave her some insights to pursue a career in acting. Bukola came to be popular when she featured in Tunde Kelani’s movie Arugba, with her performance as the virgin who volunteered to bear the Osun goddess calabash won her the award as upcoming Actress of the Year award in 2012.
