Iyabo Ojo Biography – Age

Iyabo Alice Ojo is a Nigerian actress, producer who was born on December 21, 1977 with two siblings and she’s the only girl and youngest of them all. She hails from Abeokuta Itoko town in Ogun state, her dad is late while her mom Madam Olubunmi Fetuga is still alive. Iyabo attended National College, Gbagbaga in Lagos where she got her West African School Certificate before she proceeded to Lagos State Polytechnic where she received a diploma certificate in Estate management.

The popular actress is not new to the movie industry as she joined the Nigerian movie industry under the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) in 1998 through the assistance of a senior colleague Bimbo Akintola and made her debut in a movie titled satanic. She got married in 1999 which made her to take a little break from acting. Most of Iyabo’s movies are indigenous Yoruba movies and she has featured in over 150 movies which some of them includes: Agogo Ide, Beyond Disability, Silence, Black Val.

The mother of two has won many awards which includes: Gold Award for Outstanding Performance in 2006, African Film Award for Best Cross Over Actress in 2007, and African Merit Award for best Actress of the year in 2013.
