Yewande Adekoya is a Nigerian actress, film producer and a writer, born on January 20, 1983. She hails from Ososa-Ijebu in Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria but grew up in Lagos. Yewande attended her primary education at Bright Star Nursery and Primary school, and her secondary education at Bright Star Comprehensive High School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Babcock University in Mass Communication.
The beautiful actress started her career in 2002 when she was with Alphabash Music And Theatre Group but produced her first English movie in 2006 titled Life Secret. She has won also nominated for some awards such as: most promising Actress in a Yoruba film in 2012(nominated), Best Supporting Actress in a Yoruba film 2013(nominated), Best Actress in a leading role in 2014 at the Best of Nollywood Awards (BON) (also nominated), but won Best New Actress award in July 2014 and Most Promising Actress award at City People Entertainment Awards in December 2014. Currently, Yewande is married with kids.
